Please note that the MAD Club practice at the Cornbow Hall, Halewowen on the 20th June and 7th July are CANCELLED. This is due to other events on at the hall.

Midland Amateur couple Jack Beale and Karolina Szmit today made the final of the U21 British Open Ballroom Championship in Blackpool. This is the event that all others are judged by and to make a final here is extremely tough, but that they did, and were placed 6th - A fantastic result for them and for the Midlands! Well Done guys!

Megan and Alex danced brilliantly in what was known as the juvenile babies team. The team was placed 3rd overall. Megan and Alex were one of two couples to dance ballroom, where the marks for each dance did not drop below 9.8, amazingly the tango was marked at 9,9. Well done to megan and alex you did your country proud, and your parents and dance teachers are very proud!

Many congratualations to Lloyd Perry and Rebecca Scott who yeserday won the Juvenile Jive competition at the Junior British Open Championships in Blackpool!

MAD Club Members Alex Lougheed and Megan Alebon will be representing Great Britain in the Juvenile Team Match at the British Open Championships in Blackpool over the Easter Holidays.......

It was a great (if late!) day yesterday at Brierley Hill Civic Hall where the MAD Club hosted the Heart of England Championships. It was fantastic turn out and all the MADC Committee Members would like to thank all competitors who turned out on a very cold and icy day to support our event.
